UConn Day at ESPN

Not only will ESPN be showing the UConn men's game at Villanova at 7 p.m. and ESPN2 broadcasting the women's game between UConn and Oklahoma at 9 but just got an e-mail saying that the UConn women's dominance and the struggles of the men's program will be contrasted on Outside the Lines which will air from 3-3:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Why did Jim Fuller say on the Geno show on CPTV that Jane Appel of Stanford was no longer on his list of the top 5 women's players in the country?

I think it's pretty self explanatory, I don't think Jayne Appel is having a season worthy of being voted as one of the nation's top five players. I would be likely to vote for her teammate Ogwumike and either Kelsey Griffin of Nebraska or Jantel Lavender of Ohio State on the ballot. Of course if Jayne plays the rest of the season like she did in the last week, I'd give her more serious consideration than if I cast my ballot right now.
