Can you explain why Stanford has 3 POTY finalists...b/c I certainly can't??????????? If they do, shouldn't they be undefeated and #1 in the country...never ceases to amaze me!!!!!!

All 3 of Stanford's POY finalists are better than Tiffany Hayes. She is good, but they are better. I am a UConn fan who watches other teams play thru out the season. Being a homer fan does not mean other team's players do not deserve awards.

Brittney Griner deserves to win the POY just as much as Maya Moore. Check their statistics. Both players are close in scoring and rebounding. Maya has more assists while Brittney has more blocks. The big difference is opponents do not adjust their offense against Maya but they do against Brittney.

Without Maya, UConn does not win the NC and does not win 30 games. Without Brittney, Baylor does not win the NC and does not win 30 games.
