Stanford No. 1 in coaches' poll as well
Just saw the latest USA Today Sports national coaches' poll and it looks pretty similar to the writers' poll which came out yesterday.
Stanford is the new No. 1 team receiving 17 of the 31 first-place votes followed by UConn (12 No. 1 votes) and previous No. 1 Baylor checks in at No. 3 and picked up the other two first-place ballots.

Stanford deserves the Number 1 ranking after beating Baylor. Sims was in the game for all but 4 minutes and should not be considered the reason they lost. Geno always says the game was lost long before that happened (her exit in this case).
However, Baylor is a force to be dealt with--and many teams shall deal badly with them. Uconn, like Stanford, must play at a very high level and have more than a minor amount of luck to beat Baylor. Some idiot called himself 80-0 alluding to Baylor--should now call himself 44-1.
