Another big game for Maya Moore
In the "I guess she has recovered from her ankle injury" department, former UConn star Maya Moore had 42 points and 16 rebounds to lead Shanxi to a 87-67 win over Jiangsu in game one of the best of three quarterfinal series in the WCBA playoffs in China.
Moore received the most votes in the WCBA All-Star balloting but decided to skip the game after injuring her ankle during a recent game.
Moore headed into the playoffs leading the WCBA in scoring with an average of 39.7 points per game.
