Report: UConn in Sierra Calhoun's top four

According to a report by the NYG Hoops Report, Christ the King star Sierra Calhoun has cut her list to UConn, Duke, Notre Dame and Tennessee.

Calhoun, a 6-foot wing, averaged 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals as a junior. Her older brother Omar just completed a solid freshman season with the UConn men's basketball team.

Jim,

Do you have any news or insights into the supposed "controversy" over the new UConn logo? the stories I've heard have been second-hand and sound a bit, um, bizarre if you know what I mean.

The new logo needs to go. If you're going to design something new make it original. It looks like a demon Husky.

It'll be interesting to see if Sierra decides to follow her brother to UConn. Speaking of recruits, sounds like Lexi Gussert is deciding whether to travel to Storrs to pick up a UConn offer. Interesting that Geno wants her to come to Storrs before extending an offer. Sounds like he wants her to figure out her level of interest. http://php.jconline.com/blogs/mike/purdue-womens-basketball-recruiting-lexi-gussert/
