While it has already been reported, it is now official that UConn commit Napheesa Collier is one of the 28 players trying out for the U.S. U-18 team later this month.

USA Basketball released the list of candidates and the list includes former UConn recruiting targets Recee' Caldwell, Sierra Calhoun, Brianna Turner and A'ja Wilson.

The trials will be held from May 24-26 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. with the 12-member squad competing in the FIBA Americas U18 Championship being announced on May 26.
