UConn originally planned on filing the paperwork but with between 5-10 UConn athletes from a variety of sports seeking an additional season of eligibility, the American Athletic Conference requested that UConn waited until the paperwork for all the candidates is ready to go.
It is looking like the official request will be completed by next week and UConn is not anticipating any problems with Tuck reclaiming the season of eligibility.
"Those decisions don't have to be made until she graduates," Auriemma said. "It is not one of those things that they tell you so whenever you feel like sending it in you send it in and when they feel like giving you a decision, they give you a decision. In due time whenever it is, I have no idea."
Auriemma said that Tuck has been making progress coming off her knee surgeries but she is still probably a month and a half away from doing basketball activities.
"She told me that in the middle of next month she is going to be able to do (basketball) stuff," Auriemma said.. "They said six months so it is right around now."
