Former UConn forward Michala Johnson granted sixth season at Wisconsin

Former UConn forward Michala Johnson was granted a sixth season of eligibility so she will be returning to play for Wisconsin during the 2015-16 season.

Johnson has dealt with more than her share of knee injuries including one she suffered last season. What could be the most interesting aspect of this story is that the New York Liberty drafted Johnson in the third round in the WNBA Draft. With Johnson clearly coming back to Wisconsin, that pick will be voided.
