Here's transcript from UConn's visit to White House today

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it down to the White House for the annual visit with President Barack Obama after winning the national title.

UConn coach Geno Auriemma's "see you next year" comment has gotten plenty of play especially on social media but if anybody is interested in the transcript of President Obama's comments, here you go.

Earlier this summer Katie Samuelson supposedly left the campus because of her Mother's illness. Nothing has been reported since...did she ever return? It's certainly been a "dead" summer as far as news on the Women's team and it's incoming class.

Yes she is on campus. I am not sure Geno addressing her situation would constitute "nothing has been reported since." If she were not on campus, there would have been stories written about it but she's had a tough enough of a summer without stalking her and making a big deal of her being on campus.

Don't know how "dead" of a summer is has been. I had eight blogs on Kia Nurse since early August, plenty of updates on Napheesa Collier at U-19 world championship, had interview with all three freshmen as well as with Morgan Tuck and Moriah Jefferson at Geno's golf tournament, caught up with Geno at taping of CenterStage with Michael Kay as well as getting update on the freshmen from Chris Dailey at Travelers. I also did some stuff with Breanna Stewart off national team training camp.

There's a chance we have access to players next week but if not, there will be some opportunities to do interviews with the players soon.
