Bird erupts against Phoenix
Well, I guess Sue Bird is OK.
A day after being held out of a game against Los Angeles because of a hip injury, the former UConn star had 31 points in Seattle's win over Phoenix Sunday night.
The most impressive aspect of the game is that Bird needed just 11 shots to get her points. She was 10 of 11 from the field including going 5 of 6 from 3-point range. She also had three rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes of action.
