The American Athletic Conference announced that the inaugural women's basketball media day will be held on Oct. 14 at Mohegan Sun Arena which is also the site of the conference's women's basketball tournament.

When UConn was in the Big East the annual women's basketball media day has been held in New York for the last several years.
