Impressive ratings for UConn/Temple game

As UConn is rolling to victory after victory the Huskies are proving to be a hit in the ratings department.

SNY and UConn passed on the information that Wednesday's UConn/Temple game delivered the top marks in the NY DMA (designated market area) for any UConn women's basketball game carried on SNY.

Out of 83 live UConn Women’s Basketball game telecasts on SNY since Nov 2012, the four highest rated have aired this year from Jan 4 to Feb 1.

SNY’s UConn/Temple Women’s Basketball game topped YES’ telecast of the Knicks/Nets game, NBCSN’s NHL doubleheader and seven live college basketball games aired on ESPN2, ESPNU and FS1 in the NY DMA.
The Temple game was the highest rated game of the season in the Hartford-New Haven market topping the record breaking game against SMU on 1/14 by 0.01 HH rating points.

SNY-CT’s UConn/Temple telecast delivered the largest HH audience for a UConn women’s basketball game on SNY in Connecticut since 2/1/14(vs. Cincinnati. 
 
SNY-CT’s UConn women’s basketball is averaging a 5.56 HH rating through 11 telecasts, the best performance for this franchise on SNY through 11 games since the 2013-2014 season.

Through 11 telecasts, SNY’s UCONN Women’s Basketball is up +14% compared to the same period last season.

Up 14% compared to last year is quite impressive.

I've heard that last year's team was not bad.
