What is an Individualized Major? How many Different individualized majors are Available at UConn? Are there Enough Students for Each type of Individualized Major to have Professors teach Classes? Or are the students Home Schooled or Dorm Schooled for Individual Majors?

An individualized major is not that uncommon at UConn. An advisor helps a student come up with a plan and class schedule to fit the individualized major.

Here is a link to a story I did on the subject last year http://www.nhregister.com/articles/2010/02/10/sports/021010-uconn_w_advance.txt?viewmode=fullstory

Jim Fuller - Thank you for taking the time to respond to a loyal reader! It is very appreciated. Get ready for some more frozen precipitation on Saturday. Watch out for those Ice Missiles like the one that hit the bus.
