Former UConn star Tiffany Hayes suffered a broken nose and was credited for playing 2:33 and registering an assist in today's exhibition game against Tulsa even though she posted on her twitter account that she wasn't going to play in the game because of the injury.
Former UConn guard Lorin Dixon played 9:15, missed her only shot but was credited with two rebounds and an assist.

As for Hayes, when I spoke with Atlanta coach Marynell Meadors after Hayes was taken by the Dream in the second round she said that Hayes would have to beat out Laurie Koehn and Romina Ciappina for a roster spot. All Koehn did today was drain seven 3-pointers and added one rebound and one steal to her game-high 21 points. Ciappina had a pair of 3-pointers to finish with eight points.
