Mosqueda-Lewis cleared to play
UConn sophomore forward Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, who was listed as questionable due to a quad contusion, will be playing in tonight's game against Penn State.
Mosqueda-Lewis, who is UConn's second-leading scorer and has 15 of the Huskies' 61 3-pointers, suffered the injury while trying to avoid a double team en route to the basket in the first half of Monday's win over Maryland. Mosqueda-Lewis was held out of the second half of the Maryland game and only did shooting drills in Wednesday's practice. She was cleared to play after Thursday afternoon's shootaround.
