National honor for UConn's Stewart
It is that time of the year when various publications and sites will announce their player of the year and all-american teams and ESPNW is up first as the player of the year is UConn sophomore Breanna Stewart.
Stewart has scored at least 20 points 19 times in 34 games including the last six and she joined Maya Moore as the only UConn players with at least 500 points, 250 rebounds, 100 assists, 50 steals and 50 blocked shots.
Stewart's teammates Stefanie Dolson and Bria Hartley were also named to the 10-member all-american team.
