Gabby Williams, the first UConn freshman with consecutive double doubles since Maya Moore, was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week.

She had 18 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Cincinnati and 16 points to go with 13 rebounds against Memphis.

She is 11th at UConn in points per 40 minutes by a freshman and her average of 15.1 rebounds per 40 minutes is the most of any freshman in UConn history.
