Leedham scores in double figures again
Former Cheshire Academy star Johannah Leedham posted her fifth straight double-digit scoring game with 11 points as Great Britain lost to Russia 62-59 in its final game at the EuroBasket championships.
Leedham had eight rebounds and two steals but also committed seven turnovers as Great Britain finished with a 1-5 record and failed to advance to the quarterfinals.
Leedham averaged 12 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals despite being limited to 20.8 minutes as she recovered from a knee injury.
Former UConn star Svetlana Abrosimova had 10 points, five rebounds and a game-high six steals for Russia.
